Netlabels are record labels that distribute music online. To us, being a netlabel means we love making music and we love giving that music to friends. So we prioritise accessibility, independence and fun.

Any Mlem release is yours now! We’ve already given it to you, friend! Please share stuff with more friends if you think they might like it. Sharing is caring! ♥

Internally Mlem functions like a worker cooperative. The label is run as a collective and is directed by its members, in equal vote.

Most Mlem releases¹ are licensed under CC BY-NC or CC BY-NC-SA.

In short, that means you can freely download, share and remix Mlem releases. But can’t use them in commercial works by default. Just ask, we’re nice! (●’◡’●)
