on the debut ep of indigo chamber, a tension reigns between the urge for escapism and pressing wake-up calls from the real world, which seems to grow more imminent and frightening every day.

finding their retreat in hooky, hypnotic dreampop, the crystalline organs, oceanic synths, waltzy drum machines and languid falsetto vocals don’t seem to disturb the idyllic daydream.

but from under the perfect surface a threat of increasing frustration and dissatisfaction looms, and the ever so safe glass bubble is slowly starting to crack…
